报告摘要:

  Vortex dynamics plays a fundamental role in turbulence. In this talk, I will report our very recent work on splitting dynamics of multiply quantized vortex in superfluid via the lens of holographic duality, which relates the strongly coupled many body quantum systems to the weakly interacting gravitational systems and is particularly suitable to address the non-equilibrium process, which is otherwise notoriously difficult to attack by conventional methods. In particular, we discover some universal novel behaviors associated with the splitting dynamics of the multiply quantized vortex, which is amenable to verification in the tabletop experiments in cold atom gases. 

报告人简介:

  张宏宝副教授,现就职于北京师范大学物理学系。北京师范大学本科,北京大学硕士,北京师范大学、加拿大圆周理论物理研究所以及滑铁卢大学联合培养博士。曾先后在希腊克里特大学,比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学以及索尔维国际研究所从事博士后研究工作。目前主要研究兴趣集中于数值相对论与全息引力。
