报告摘要:

  Controlling internal boundaries in quantum Hall systems offers a route to engineering reconfigurable topological states. Here, we demonstrate the creation and tunability of incompressible quantum Hall strips separating domains with different sub-Landau level occupations in graphene on high-dielectric SrTiO3 substrate. This strip constitutes a topological boundary, similar to a quantum Hall edge state, which we manipulate in real space by adjusting the magnetic field and the carrier density. We track the motion of the incompressible strip using a combination of terahertz nanoscopy and infrared near-field photocurrent imaging. The high dielectric screening of SrTiO₃ enhances the width of the incompressible region to the micrometer scale, allowing us to directly probe the interplay of charge inhomogeneity, electrostatic screening, and quantum Hall physics across the entire device. These results establish a platform for exploring internal quantum Hall boundaries and suggest their potential utility as dynamically reconfigurable channels for topological charge transport.

 代珍兵,高级实验师,四川大学凝聚态物理博士,纽约州立大学石溪分校博士后,校级一流课程《物理实验研究与创新》课程负责人,主持校级实验专项项目10余项。曾获四川师范大学名扬奖教金“优秀本科课程教学创新设计奖”暨教学创新大赛二等奖,四川师范大学青年教师讲课比赛三等奖两次,四川师范大学“教育基金本科教学优秀奖”三等奖,优秀实验室工作先进个人。近五年以第一作者和通讯作者Science Advances (IF:12.5), Small Methods (IF:9.1), Progress in Quantum Electronics (IF:12.5), Frontiers of Physics (IF:5.3), Physical Review B (IF:3.7) 共发表了科学研究论文7篇。发表教育教学类教学研究论文9篇,参与省级一流课程建设2项,设计制作教具有100余项,授权实用新型专利3项。
